Despite Koh Chang being the second largest Island in Thailand, it is one of the least known, but most beautiful. Koh Chang is home to nice and soft white sandy beaches and a good selection of nature mixed with adventure sports and tourist attractions. Over the past ten years it has been transformed from a backpackers retreat to a more developed holiday destination. You can often find beautiful birds, deer, a few elephants, and the occasional snake. The island is a great place to go snorkeling or diving and also caters for hikes through the lush jungle.
The good thing about Koh Chang is that it’s less “touristy” than Samui and Phuket, which makes it a nice place to visit now, before it becomes more well known, and more developed.
